Ashley Canterbury is the Founder and CEO of Belli Capelli Beauty, an adaptive beauty consultancy working to make beauty products, services, and spaces more accessible for people of all abilities.

With more than 20 years of experience as a hairstylist, makeup artist, and beauty professional, Ashley understands the confidence, creativity, and independence that beauty can provide. Her perspective changed after surviving a life-threatening automobile accident that resulted in permanent vision loss in her left eye. As she adapted to life with partial sight, she became increasingly aware of how often beauty packaging, tools, environments, and services are designed without people with disabilities in mind.

Ashley founded Belli Capelli Beauty to help close that gap. Through one-on-one adaptive beauty consultations, accessibility audits, professional education, and the development of the Adaptive Beauty Design Standard, she helps individuals and beauty businesses create experiences that are more functional, dignified, and inclusive.

Her mission is rooted in a simple belief: beauty should work for people, not the other way around.
